The Saturn's unique design features are built to deliver singing lead tones that don't loose their sparkle.

SATURN OVERVIEW

The Saturn Super-Gainer is a warm/clean boost type overdrive pedal that delivers maximum soul without the muddy tone of uninspired commercial type designs. The Saturn was completely engineered from the ground with the goal of achieving the most soulful tone possible. Our input buffer stage is a special discrete FET/NPN transistor stage designed to emulate triode tube saturation characteristics. The warmth circuit uses a MOSFET limiter for gentle clipping and touch sensitive dynamics. The output section drives a miniature coupling transformer which can be driven hard for warm transformer type saturation.

The Saturn is a true bypass pedal and switches quietly thanks to the output transformer coupling. We also added power conditioning circuitry for the external 9V power adapter to minimize hum (accepts 9V tip negative).
