RTZ Public Design Resources for AMPEX Recorders
We decided to make our design resources for our Ampex upgrade
electronics public material since these items are no longer
produced or supported. This decision was made to allow past
customers or other users wishing to modify or recreate these
designs in order to keep their studio recorders in working order.
Note this design material may not be used for commercial or
individual profit.
PLEASE DO NOT CALL OR CONTACT USE FOR TECHNICAL HELP
OR SUPPORT WITH AMPEX EQUIPMENT - WE NO LONGER SUPPORT THESE
PRODUCTS! We suggest checking with users of the Ampex
mailing list or other web resources for help if you have
question or problems.

A swticher card design for the MM1200 that was in the
works but was never fully tested or verified. This should
be pretty "close", however, some additional design
work may be needed. Use at your own risk. |
NOTE: We have a limited supply
of custom anodized heatsinks and edge connectors available for
our repro card design. These are available for $10 each for
either part while supplies last.
